地点: 物理学院中楼 508 时间: 11月21日 (星期五) 3:00pmThe non-Markovian effect from the environment on the free and control dynamics of open quantum system has been widely discussed?in research fields ranging from atomic, molecular and optical physics to condensed matter physics and to quantum information science. Based on the review over the standard research approaches, such as master equation and bang-bang control, we will introduce an alternative approach,?a stochastic Schr?dinger equation termed as?quantum-state-diffusion (QSD) equation, which serves as a dynamical equation for reduced systems and also a tool for nonperturbative control. It is shown that in principle, QSD equation describes the non-Markovian decoherence process without any approximation and on certain conditions, it can be used to derive an exact master equation.?

Dr Jun Jing got his PhD degree in 2007 at Physics Department of Shanghai Jiaotong University. Afterwards, he started as a lecturer at Shanghai University and got promoted as an associate professor in 2009. From 2010 to 2014, he worked?successively?as a research associate?at Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey; a visiting scholar at?Department of Theoretical Physics and History of Science, The Basque Country University, Spain; and a research scientist at?Physics Department, University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, in order. In June 2014, he becomes a full professor at the institute of Atomic and Molecular Physics, Jilin University. His works involve with the field of open quantum system dynamics, quantum control,?quantum entanglement and decoherence process of AMO systems and quantum dots.
